New Jeep guy from CT
Hey everybody, just picked up my first Jeep this past weekend. It's a 2001 XJ Sport I found down in Delaware, 200k miles engine runs strong, like new interior, new tires, and only a little rust on a dinged up driver side fender (which hopefully won't be hard to align/fix) and a few other small paint scratches. I picked it up for $1500 bucks in Delaware and drove it 6 hours home to CT. I bought it as a weekend fun/light trail vehicle and the designated Home Depot vehicle. In the future I would like to Herculiner most of the exterior and underbody (especially the hood and lower doors), ARB Front bumper and a RE 3.5 or 4.5" lift and larger tires.
This is my first Jeep and so far and am enjoyng it and this forum, lots of great info here and a contributing factor to me wanted to get a Jeep.
