Default New here from South Carolina

Hi all...I just bought my first ever Cherokee and I'm hooked! It's a 1988 with 130,000 on the odometer. Not much to look at from the outside, a couple of dents here and there and the paint is faded but the interior is clean and she's running well. I got the basics out of the way...oil changed, brakes checked, A/C charged, 4WD fixed, cleaned and shampooed the interior, replaced the headliner and re-covered the visors. So far, so good. I'm really excited to have my first Cherokee and learn as I go. It's great to meet everyone...

Welcome! Bought my first jeep a year ago here in upstate SC myself. Don't know what part of the state you are in. I just spent the day exploring forest trails in North East Georgia myself. If this is not too far you there are a lot of great places to check out.

Where are you? What kind of driving do you plan on doing with your jeep?

Thanks for the warm welcome Flowpro and allinthefamily!

allinthefamily: I'm in the Charlotte/Rock Hill area. I'm not quite sure yet on how I want to build my Jeep. I've only had it a week and I'm still just excited to have it! I do a lot of camping though and I like to explore and find the areas most folks don't know about or can't get to. It's also my DD though so I can't do anything too extreme...guess I'll just play it by ear and see how it goes!
