Smile New here from Rio Rancho,NM

Sup everyone I'm new to the forum. My name is Bladimir and I have been living in Rio Rancho,NM for a year now. My brother recently gave me a 99 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4x4 with the 4.0L engine. As soon as it's fixed I would like to do some upgrades on it and go off roading. Instead of making another thread on the problem I'm just going to ask here. The previous owner let the engine overheat so I don't know if the motor is toast or just head/head gasket? My brother told me that the engine turns. I would like to find someone in the area who is very knowledgeable with this vehicles to take a look at it and let me know what needs to be done or if someone knows a good mechanic that would be awesome. I don't have the car here yet since he is bringing it from Louisiana tomorrow. Thanks

Thank you.

How hard would it be to swap out the motor and put another one in? I think I'm going to prefer to do this instead or maybe have the motor rebuilt.
