Default New here with a 1993 XJ I6 manual

Hello everyone!

I just picked up a 1993 XJ at 180k after a long time in a 2011 Mazda 3. It’s a welcomed change.

I initially learned to drive in a 94 XJ and had a 96 XJ after that so I am familiar with the truck but not so familiar with mechanical details of it.

It’s all original parts so I’m planning on doing some maintenance addressing some common problems such as TPS and valve cover gasket

If any of you out there would like to give your $0.02 I’ll happily take it.

either way I’m excited to be back in a jeep and look forward to speaking with you folks.

Regards
Mr. Chavez

Welcome to the forum. This is an excellent place for learning about the mechanical aspects of these vehicles.

Lesson number one: they arent trucks
