Default New guy needs some advice

Alright so here it is, new to the forums and what not. Just bought a completely stock white 94 xj, wicked clean new shocks and tires just put in it. Very little rust only a couple spots on the rockers, plan on sanding out and repainting. I'v got some big plans for it heres the list;

Got a set of 32" pro comp mudders on 15"s sitting in the shed already
Planning on a 4.5" lift when i get the cash
a C4x4 front bumper with built in grille gaurd
Light bar for the roof (2 on the c4x4)
Spare tire swing bar for the back
gotta find a back bumper plan
I've got a real tree camo obsession, so ive seat covers from my old p.o.s car ready to go in not to mention steering wheel cover and a couple other things.

anyone have any additional ideas or some warnings, i do live in mass and the lift law says i can only have 2.67" of lift total but im thinking screw it

Steel armor on rear quarters and L.E.D. tail lights.
Gas tank skid plate.
Fender Flares.

dont plan on getting a whinch and at the moment the xj is practically new, theres really nothing wrong with it. fender flairs do seem like a damn good idea though now that i think about it

1.Welcome.
2.If you are planning on doing any real wheeling ,I'd nix the light bar on the roof.
3.If state law is only so "2.67" of lift",then only do a 3' lift. Are your tires brand new? If not, that's ok. 32's should be fine. If you're worrying about rubbing the inside , then get some longer bumpstops.
4.Check state laws on how far tires can stick out. If at all possible, I'd leave the stock fender flares on it.

Tires are 80% tread i bought off a buddy of mine. 32/12.5 pro comp mudders. Yes mass has a law about how far they can stick out i dont really care because im not extending or buying new flares they dont really care much, as long as when they pull you over your bumper is a certain hight from the ground (they keep tape measure in the vehicles). As for the light bar is it a bad idea or will really wheeling with it mess the bar up or something?

little bit of an update. cleaned up a few issues with the xj, exhaust leak fixed hole in the rocker fixed, new speakers in looking for a new stereo entirely. I'm dying to get these 32's on and almost have enough for my lift just have no clue how to install it...

Welcome to CF. You will find here all the info you need to get your lift installed. You might even find guys coming over to help you get it on. LOL, I'm in Oregon too much travel time for me.
