Well I was mid tearing into my 77 Wagoneer when I just HAD to sit back and hunt around on Craigslist.
I came across this 93 Grand Cherokee Limited that I had been watching for a few weeks and the price was falling from $2000 down to $1400. I sent the guy a text and he said he would take a grand tonight. Was an hour away and I didn't have all the money but ended up locking it in a getting it.
Is a pretty darn clean machine and there were zero clickings,clackings,smoking,screeching,thumping etc. Tracked straight,good acceleration,nice options,windows all work, and unlike my 1977 ZERO rust!
Final price was $975 (plus fuel at 9mpg!
) anyhow drove like a dream all the way home.
Ya'll will have to direct me what to do about that lower console control diagnostic thing (or climate control?) I have no manual and nothing lights up so just guessing. Radio works good but the light display is totally out and no underdash curtesy lights work so maybe something in common (other than it is a rag lol) all the fuses look good.
Anyhow glad to be here. Already ordered fresh headlights.side markers and parking lights for $60 shipped so excited to add them and to find some "snowflake" patern wheels to swap out my 5 spokes for.
