New guy from France with a 5 on the floor!
Hi all, I was reading for few months this awesome Forum, and finally decide to present myself. I'm Pete 31 years old, mecanics fan, spend most of my time in the garage working on my hot rods or my water ski boat...
My daily car is this cherokee 1992,4.0 with AX 15, my first one was a 2.5 from 1994 it was very cool, but engine died after 300 000km...
I found my XJ in Germany with 100 000 miles on it, rear springs was broken, shocks were dead, exhaust was completely rusted, the car was running but very low power....I think due to the old women that was driving this car for 10 years...
We drove back with my father 500km with no prob... Arrived home, I started to work on it, new rear springs with home made extend shakles, front springs blocks, new pro comp shocks, new steering damper, 235/75R15 winter discoverer, 3'' home made exhaust with a turbo muffler, no catalytic converter (no needed for this car in france). I bough a bigger valve body on Summit, new sparks plug, delco and wires, oil, filters etc... I run that Xj for 5000 miles now, with no prob everything is working perfectly. I really like it!
I have ordered soft 8 in 15x8 and will buy a sure slip for my dana 35 asap...
