Hello, new here and am just getting started. I now own my 3rd XJ. The first I bought new. Actually ordered it in 1986. The second was one I bought used for my son. I also had a couple YJs.
I say getting started, but it actually started about 6 years ago when I started looking for the right XJ. I found this nice 1996 with no rust, but 260,000 miles on it 3 years ago on CL in Denver. I had it shipped home to MN and the journey began. I'll post a couple pictures, if I can.

Anyhow I found this forum while I was trying to find out why I couldn't seem to get on another XJ forum that I am on too. It's called xjtalk.com Does anyone know?

Here is some more info about me.
I retired 10 years ago after 32 years of being a firefighter/EMT and a Vietnam era Air Force vet.
I married my high school sweetheart 44 years ago. She is retired also after 40 years as a teacher for the blind.

I'll start a new thread in "jeep builds" on my project called "Project Overkill" to keep you updated on what I've done so far and what I want to do.
