Hello all. Thought I’d introduce myself and say thanks for all the great info you contribute. As a gesture of good will, I’d like to pass on some info I came across. As we all know, it’s difficult to find a copper and brass heater core for the earlier XJ’s. I went on the hunt and found one at radiator express. The key is a had to search for a 91 model year. I received it last week and it is, in fact, copper and brass. About $120.00 shipped to my door. I’m not affiliated with these guys at all and I get nothing for sharing this. Just hoped it might save someone the frustration of finding one. I currently have an 87 Comanche 2wd that’s going to get the 4wd conversion. I also bought a 96 4 door Cherokee auto 4.0 4wd for a donor. However, it’s just too nice to take apart so I’m redoing it too.

Here’s the XJ after a 3” lift and some wheels and tires
