New Full Size rig member (Pics)
Hello all, first time jeep owner. I just purchased this newly built rig from a Jeep enthusiast. The body is not perfect but is perfect for trails and rocks I'm currently altering some of the recovery points to suite my needs.
Engine 360 AMC bored .030" over, new rings and badger pistons, block alined bored and decked.
Crankshaft ground .010" under, new rod/ main bearings, rotating assembly balanced.
Heads surfaced, new guides and seals, valve job, pro-form roller rockers and Edlebrock springs/keepers.
Edlebrock off-road grind hydraulic cam/lifters.
Melling high volume oil pump.
Edlebrock dual plane aluminum intake manifold and Holley 650 cfm dual feed carb.
Electronic distributor, high voltage ignition wires and MSD coil.
Dual electric fans, thermostat controlled 180*
New starter
Hedman headers with 3" stainless steel exhaust with flowmaster mufflers.
MSD AL600 high output ignition module. (under-dash on passenger side)
GM turbo 400 transmission, complete rebuild all new parts. B&M trans cooler and Star shifter.
Borg Warner quadra-trac transfercase, complete rebuild, new seals, vacuum module and Mile Marker overdrive unit.
Front Dana 44 axle, disc brakes, new rotors, pads and calipers, axle u-joints/seals. Power-trax automatic locker, Mile Marker locking hubs.
Rear Dana 44 axle, drum brakes, new drums, shoes, spring kit and wheel cylinders. Power-trax automatic locker
Suspension, BJ's off road 6" springs; front and rear. Pro-comp 9000 shocks; front and rear. New kevlar longer brake lines. Front 1" spring shackle.
Sway bar disconnects. Pro-comp steering stabilizer.

You ever want to resale it would start a bidding war lol, and I would be the first in line. I love the old SJs my dad had one and they are almost unbeatable when it comes to toughness and off-road ability! Welcome and we are glad you join CF

Thanks, that's what I've heard too. I'm anxiously waiting for opening day to any off road park. They all seem to open in May
