Hello all, my name is Eric, my wife and I are from south east michigan. Our hobby has been ridding quads for the last few years and now we are looking make a change. We have been looking at various different trucks, but I have always had a soft spot for the Cherokee, I have been looking for one for a few weeks now but I was stuck in Cali so I was unable to go look at them. Now I'm back and assuming I find one we like I will be picking one up soon. My plan is to pick up a clean stock xj and quickly get a 3"-4" lift on so I can play with it in the sand this summer. After that I would like to make it a long term project, continually making it better. As far as lifts go I have done a little research and I want something quality, that isn't going to beet us up while driving on the street, it will mostly be driven in the sand, trails and I'm sure my wife will have it in the mud, have been thinking of a rustys 3" spring pack kit, or a RE 3.5". Happy to be apart of the forum, any tips or advise is appreciated.
