Hi, I'm mike from sothern Oregon I have an 87 Pioneer that I picked up about 1 1/2 years ago and have been fixin it up ever since. Picked it up for $1000. Had 189k on it then. 4.0L, 5spd Changed most of the gaskets, seals and fluids. Stopped all the leaks eccept the one in the light duty 5spd trany! Trying to deside what to do about that now.
It works ok, just drips a bit on the driveway. Would like to swap it out but I don't do any hardcore weelin. Just drives in the snowed in trails in the winter and mudholes in the spring. 2in Skyjacker and 30x9.50 BFG AT's It's got over 205k on it now and doesn't use any oil at all. Just ordered new spring packs, it's sagin a bit in the rear end. Still got some tinkering to do and trips to the JY but it keeps me bussy.
