Looking for some advise on wat I should do with my motor. I have an 01' xj the motor is on its last leg I'm debating on if I should pull the motor in it out and rebuild myself or just buy a reman motor and have it done in a weekend. if I rebuild it will be all new top to bottom cam pistons valves new head exc. just looking for some advise
I don't really need anymore hp or torque just want reliability If I can go with a reman and drop it in over a weekend and be just as reliable as a motor that will take me a couple of weeks rebuild and around the same price I would choose a reman crate motor

Ive looked at there kits, but no more than that. When I do mine I might head over there for a qoute/advice with Turbocharging a Stroker. I want a 4.5 or 4.6 with a t4 turbo around 12 psi. 505 is just our Area code, but its convienent that there so close. Apparently they have made the most powerfull inline jeep engine at just under 700 horses and Just under 800 ft lbs of tq
