Default new to THIS forum

Hi all, just registered here. A few on here may know me from some of the other Jeep forums or lostjeeps.com. I go by the same name on all of them. Picked up a '91 XJ a few days ago and already surfing the forums to find out more to do to it. It's a 4.0, auto, not sure which TC I've got yet. It already has a Skyjacker 4.5" full suspension lift, JKS Discos, Bushwacker cutout flares and running 32 x 11.50 Cooper Discoverer STT's on M/T 15 x 10 rims. Also has Baja RS seats to keep me in place and steel bumpers on both ends, but NO SKIDS OR HOOKS YET! Who builds a Jeep like this and doesn't put recovery points and skids on it? Darn kids these days! just can't teach 'em anything!! Already having problems with the brakes, but I think I found the right threads already. Looks like I need to swap the master cylinder and booster to a '96 or above dual diaphragm unit. Looking forward to getting info on here about that swap and even more improvements in the future. That's all for now, see ya in the other sections or on the trail ( after I get hooks)

Default Thanks

Thanks 'ol blue and Tony. Ya, I think I figured out the brake problem. I'm getting another (newer) booster, master cylinder and prop valve this week and swap it out come Saturday thanks to the info I've already gotten here. Looks like a good community you've got. I'm on lostjeeps.com forum a lot for my KJ, but since it's down for the engine swap I THOUGHT I was just going to pick up a cheap XJ for a winter beater. When I didn't like the feel of the brakes I hopped on here and got hooked already!! Looks like I've got another Jeep project going!! ( Shhhhhh! Don't tell my wife!! )
