Hello, I just bought my dad's 97 2WD GC LTD 5.2 L Auto.
Pristine cond w/118k miles. And loaded: moon roof, leather, all elec incl seats
What is the letter designation? Or where do I find that? (XJ)?
I know this isn't the tech section but I DO have a couple of things I'd like to look at:
1) ABS light
2) CEL, was told it was a CAT code, it has an aftermarket CAT he had installed
BTW, like many here, I've been doing ALL my own repairs since I was 10 years old. And thanks to forums like this I'll hopefully be able to continue.

What you have is a ZJ. They were made up yo 98 then were replaced by the WJ.
