New Dummy
Howdy fellas, and Ladys. I am a 28 yr old Auto/ Diesel Tech from a nowhere land called Tallahassee, Fl. I have owned many Samurai's, B2's/ Rangers. Now I own a 1995 XJ, camo paint, 4.0 5 spd, manual windows, 2 dr, I paid $175 dollars for. It has had the fenders trimmed, and is currently on 265-70-15's. I have swapped the cluster out for guages, but the coolant gauge is not good on my free cluster. I will try to post pics up of it later tomorrow. My name is Joey by the way.

Well, next will be coil spacers, hope the guy in the for sale thing gets to me soon, and 1.5" rear lift shackles so I can go ahead and fit some 265-70-16's.

Welcome to the forum Joey. I was wondering if you could help me diagnose a problem ive been having with my Cherokee? You probably get questions about vehicles all the time so if you don't feel like racking your brain its all good

This is the scenario: start my truck, put in reverse back out go for q drive. Cruise for about 20 minutes but when I try to put my truck in reverse to back up, I can't find the gear, at this point its even difficult to find drive. It's an automatic with a column shift

ok, can you get out and have someone hold the brakes for you while you pop the linkage loose at the trans and put it into gears at the trans?
