I'm from connecticut (unfortunately) I have a '93 cherokee sport automatic with 274k miles running strong still. I'm gonna start by saying I'm not into lifting mine mostly because its my daily driver and the people I usually have with me have enough trouble climbing into it at the stock height. I've been more performance oriented with my vehicles in the past so I'm most likely going to try to do something along the same line with this.

Ok so I kinda disappeared for a month or 2 but still running stock with the jeep trying to make a solid plan before I jump into anything. I was looking into a turbo build using a rebuilt block since the original one I have is running up to 275k miles and I don't want to risk blowing it by doing a ricer style swap. If anyone can point me towards info on a boosted setup for a 93 style cherokee it would be appreciated also any info on a block cheap, I found some at junkyards out here for like $600 but to be ripping it apart and rebuilding that's a bit more than I'd like to spend. Oh and fabrication is not an issue this wouldn't be my first turbo job.

Only difference I can think of off hand that would make the 2wd model preform better is the lighter weight from not having the front diff and transfer case. I'm actually in a neighboring town matte black.
