Default New Cherokee Owner - Northern VA

Hey Guys,

I have been looking for an off road project to wrench on for a long time. I finally chose a cherokee due to its rabid fans and boards like this that are so supportive and have all the knowledge in the world. I am really looking forward to be part of the community.

Important stuff:

I just got dirt cheap a 1987 XJ limited, inline 6. It sat for 10 years, but was recently got up an running. I got it for a couple hundred bucks, because I want to go through and get it going nice. It's going to be my outdoor/winter vehicle. It runs, 4x4 works and the electrical seems to work mostly. Locks don't work, no radio, no ac, and runs really rough (which I haven't figured out if its a fuel injector or just old ****ty gas). Also, need to bleed the brakes. I am going to be using your guys knowledge extensively.

Happy to be a cherokee owner!

-Ryan

Any major plans for getting into offroading? post up some pics man and start a build thread

You will like it here alot. I have been on alot of automotive forums and this is by far the best one I have found overall. Good people and the forum runs very well. best part is how easy it is to upload organize and post pics

Know what? The album feature does work very well. Trying to figure out why so many keep trying to embed from other image sites?
