Thanks for the heads up. The problem is these tires are sooo loud. Im thinking with the new lift it will help the ride and noise tremendously but i still think they may be a little loud and sucks my gas faster then needed..? I was thinking of trading those all terrain tires for something a little more road worthy for now at least. Was gonna try Craigslist. I do use the car on a daily basis sooo..
The mechanic was gonna do a tune up but also do a full cleaning job. He said it includes cleaning out gunk in engine, running solutions through the engine and oil to remove gunk, and tune the engine, as well as some other cleaning stuff and would charge $300. Now your saying i could easily do this myself??? I am very DIY with almost everything else in life, computers, tech, aquariums, and pretty much anything other then cars so when i say i am a noob i mean it. lol
I dont like to waste money so if i could get an objective quote that would be awesome!!!

I just had oil change and they checked the spark plugs said they were good. I understand they are gonna be louder then normal tires but it seems these are over kill. Maybe some tires with a little less mud traction to them would help with sound?

Honestly if your running 31s on stock suspension you may be rubbing the inside of your fenders...go out side and turn your steering all the way to one side...get out and see if your tire is rubbing anywhere...this is more than likely what your hearing...

I only hear rubbing against the frame when i turn all the way to the left or right. But the noise is from the tires and maybe the car being 2 close to the tires.
Thanks glad to be here..

Could be rubbing when your driving and hitting bumps with your weight in the car...I would keep the 3 bfg tires you have and use the other for a spare then go buy a 4th bfg all terrain...then before you tear your fenders to hell go get that lift...

Rustys shocks are sufficient unless you want to pay 200+ for different shocks that will provide LITTLE difference. Also you cant order the rustys lift without the Rustys shocks...I would go with the rustys shocks..like the other guy said..there is never going to be a lifted jeep that rides super smooth unless you have a ton of $ to drop. I suggest going with the rustys 3 inch add a leaf...unless you can drop an extra 200 for the spring pack which will make your rear end a bit stronger. But honestly, Id just recommed the add a leaf since its your first lifted vehicle

If your wanting a good rig before you start going for cosmetic stuff invest in some recovery gear. If you cant afford a new bumper and winch (around $800+ for both unless you have welding skills) then you need to invest in tow hooks and mount them to the unibody of the jeep. Also look into skid plates, differential covers, tow straps with a high break strength etc. Also if you want to start small but add some cosmetic stuff consider a roof rack...I have several suggestions for them, also you should consider some auxillary lights that you can mount to your stock front bumper like mine, I can also give you direction on them.
