Picked up a stock 2000 Cherokee Freedom Edition with 134K a few weeks ago. Loving it so far! I owned a 98 XJ, but sold it back in 03 and have been wanting another Jeep since! Loving this forum, lots of good info, some of which I've already put to use. This one was super clean inside and out, very well maintained and just a blast to drive. Anybody else from the Everett, WA area? Here's a pic.
Haven't thought much about future mods yet, still checking her over to make sure she's running tip top. I wouldn't mind making it a bit more rugged for some mild off-roading though. That's why this forum is so awesome, right? Great tips on all sorts of mods.
Well, crap. It appears that I have the dreaded 0331 head crack between cylinders 3 & 4. Luckily, the small dealership that i purchased it from is going to pay 50% of the bill. I ordered a Clearwater replacement head... should have it in about a week. Definitely not a bill I was prepared for, but oh well! It's only money! SMH
