My new XJ
Hey guys, I just purchased a 2001 Cherokee and I spent a lot of time looking around this forum before buying my xj so I figured it was about time I joined. My XJ was a great find in my opinion and only needs a few minor changes before it is where I want it. It is an '01 Cherokee Sport, with only 71,000 miles on it. It has 32" tires, and a 3.5" rubicon express lift, but the rear has an additional 2" lift on it for some reason. It has a Chrysler 8.25 rear axle with a detroit locker and 4.56 yukon gears and an aussie locker up front with 4.56 gears. It also has a roof rack (I have to get a better quality one though) and 4 KC lights that aren't hooked up yet. Already took it on a camping trip it definitely did great.

Welcome, from Wisconsin. Very nice looking. When you had the back loaded up for camping. Did it look like it sat level. (Maybe that's why it has extra 2" in back.) My '91 has 67k on it right now. But some day it will look like yours.

Nice ride! I am originally from Colorado and used to work down in the Springs. Your photos of the mountains in the background brought back old memories.
You need to take that bad boy down to Ouray/Telluride and do some fun stuff. Or maybe Red Cone? I’ve never Jeeped Red Cone, but have ripped it up on my dirt bike many a time. Awesome view at the top, scary decent on the back side.
Cheers from Nashville,
Bryan...
