I have come into a 1991 xj, it's rusty and needs some mods to do my bidding off road but is a blast to drive and has plenty of power for 171000 miles on the clock. I am gathering parts and info for a build up as I write this, 4.5" lift, full width axles, new bumpers and side protection, winch, 33" tires, beer ect. I have had a wrangler and still have a 57 ****** cj-5. I have 20 years in the fab industry and am a fair shade tree mechanic. I also work like a dog so that helps lol. I just love to take my family wheeling and need a new command vehicle for the war against boredom. This xj will fit the bill with a lil work and I'm sure will keep me off road as much as possible. Now I need to find a way to make money appear out of thin air and this will be easy lol
