I'm jealous of your rust free 5 speed xj... Ohio kills vehicles. Good luck with building her up!

I wish I could say it has no rust, but sadly I put it on the lift for the the first time today and the whole floor is corroded and rusted. The car for sure came from up north. Now I gotta buy four new floor pans and get it welded in

Did you poke a hole in it or is it just surface rust?

^This. just cause its got surface rust doeant mean that you have to replace them. only if youve got a bunch of holes is that the case. and even if you have some holes, its not bad. a bit of glass would fix that.

I don't know that it means the Jeep came from up North. My guess would be that water is getting in it. I'd go over your door and hatch seals and make sure they're doing their job.
