Hi all...a little late in doing an intro as I have been reading the forum for a little while.
I bought a beautiful Colorado Red 1991 Cherokee Laredo at the end of July, and I am totally in love with this vehicle (I need to get some pictures). The body and interior are in excellent shape, except for a crusty/rusty fuel door (which I am replacing next week) and a barely sagging headliner (also replacing soon, hopefully with perforated vinyl).
The cruise doesn't work, my overhead console thermo/compass only comes on when it feels like it, had to replace the valve cover gasket and clean up a plugged vac port on the intake manifold, but other than that, there is nothing glaringly wrong with this baby!! 134k when I bought it, and the PO obviously loved this thing, too.
So, wish me luck as I get to know my XJ, and I will def be making the most of all the great info on this forum.
