Default Maryland Cherokee Owner

Hello, Fellow Cherokee Owners; just wanted to make an introduction of myself to the forum. I am new to Cherokee ownership, but not new to Jeep in general. I previously owned a Wrangler TJ. The Cherokee is a vehicle I came to respect after much research as one of the best designed SUVs. It's different from the CJ and Wranglers in that it's more accommodating for life with friends and family, there’s more in the rear is one postive. Not to discredit the CJs and Wranglers, they have their place and my hope is one day is to also add a YJ to the family.
First big project is a paint job, got a friend that’s one of the best in my County and the date is set for next week in a proper shop facility no less. I’ve saved up for it and I even get to take part in the work, prep work at least. God has really blessed me with good friends and this particular friend has mad skills when it comes to painting.

Congrats on your getting an XJ. Post some pics when you get it back from paint.

I am totally thinking that I want pictures of this project. I usually just engage in the work of any project and force forget about pictures, but I believe I will change that practice starting with this paint project.
