Hey all!

I've been lurking for some time. Bought a 96 XJ Country 4.0L about six weeks ago, and have been soaking up everything I can from this forum. Seems like a friendly place, for the most part.

My partner and I bought some land in MO recently, and picked up the XJ to be a work vehicle once we move, and to of course serve as a zombie defense vehicle once the inevitable happens, hahaha.

The PO did a little work on it, added a 3" Zone lift, a roof rack that appears to be bolted right to the roof, a homebrew rear bumper, some extra lights that are wired like sht, and an extended idle toggle that appears to actually do what it's supposed to.

She's got some rust, and a laundry list of things I want to fix and/or upgrade, but with just under 2 years until we leave the 9to5 lift, I think I can get pretty much everything I want done, done.

Yeah, definitely. I let my lady drive it initially, but it's down currently due to a seized brake caliper. Once I took that off, I saw the condition of the rotors and the hubs.
PO wrecked a few of the lug studs and flattened a bunch of threads on them, so I figured I'd do calipers, pads, rotors, hub/bearing assemblies all at once. Then start to get into it, and the axle nut is stuck and the bearing bolts are not budging...so that's my next hurdle.

Thinking about doing the on board air mod soon, so that I can use air tools to help me break the stuff loose.
