Hello, from Kentucky...
1994 XJ Sport
I guess the dude I got it from was a complete idiot. He told me the head gasket was blown as there was water in the oil and it overheated... I thought that was reasonable but then he told me he was taking the waterpump off to see if that would fix it. :facepalm: I ask him how well did it run when he park it and he said fine. So I went to look at it and told him if I could drive it I would buy it...
He told me the alternator was off of it and I would need another... I was fine but that was off the top of the $500 he wanted for it... he agreed and off to the part store I went... got there and put it on and test drove it... it ran like a dream and I was very interested at $400... went back to his house, handed him the four and I was out... got it home and look under the hood a little more everything checked out but the radiator cape... got another and it hasn't overheated yet... change the oil, flush the radiator, and about to get nice breaks, exhaust (head to tail), and a tune up...
I am in the game for really cheap...
