I just bought my second Jeep today! It's my first XJ. A '91 Sport. Pretty clean with a well cared for 230k miles on the clock, clea title and bone stock! I had an '08 JK which was cool and fun, but I was afraid to beat it since it cost me so much and I was still making payments. Due to certain circumstances I ended up trading it in te beginning of last summer for something a bit more practical for myself and the wife, but knew down the line I would try and find a good starting base for a capable wheeler. My best friend just so happens to have a sweet XJ and has quit a bit of experience with them and he talked me into joining the club after talking me out of gettng a Suzuki Samurai. I am very VERY happy I chose an XJ! Plans thus far are fix the little things, then lift it & wheel it! First on the agenda is figure out and fix the brake light situation I'm having. I have taillights, but my brake lights don't work. Also, my rear window wiper will not shut off when I turn it on. No big deal, just a little annoying. Also gotta fix my sagging headliner and a new exhaust system. Other than that it seems to be a good rig that's never been wheeled so I couldn't pass it up. $1500 well spent!

Start getting some of those small things fixed or else they will begin to add up over the years! I love my Xj too! Should last you forever if you take care of it! Welcome from TN!
