Cool Jeep XJ newbie owner from Alaska

Well I bought a 87 XJ a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying it. It needs some work but I'm excited to get to it. The thing doesn't have any rust on the undercarriage at all and it's got a newer (not sure of the year) engine in it with only 90,000 miles on it.

For a 20+ year old vehicle with working 4x4 and no rust and a newer engine, I'm pretty pleased for only spending just over 1500 bucks.

Already fixed a vacuum line issue that was causing the vents to not work correctly thanks to the forum.

Got a few things lined up that i'd like to work on. New injectors, swapping out the drum breaks for disc breaks and some other minor stuff. Basically want to get it back to working like it just came off the lot.

Lets just say the previous and second owner had a unique idea for the paint job and so far i'm digging it after putting almost 700 miles on it
