jeep sputters and shifts hard
My 2001 cherokee limited gives a throttle sensor alarm. It sputters and kicks out of over drive after about 10 miles and then straightens up after setting for a while.I have changed the throttle sensor and it did not fix the problem. It also shifts hard in all gears when it does this.Any ideas?

interesting check that could help you isolate which circut the problem is in....
this is a good read on the topic - http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/pl...07/index2.html
Good luck.
I have also narrowed my TPS codes down to the horn relay circuit. I just pulled the relay from under the hood and my codes went away. I am going to tackle changing my clockspring eventually. Atleast before my next inspection...
Good luck.
