What's going on ?
I'm Tom I just recently (within the last week) purchased a Rust Free '99 XJ
4.0L, AW4, 155K miles, Classic Trim package. I am new to this Forum (Usually Post on JeepForum) This is my 5th Jeep and 2nd XJ.
I've Owned a TJ, XJ, YJ, WJ, and now this XJ. A few of those were built and sold years later. Hopefully I'll keep this one lol !
It is currently running a 3" Tuffcountry Ez ride lift, and 31x10.50 Dick Cepek Moutain Cat Mud terrains on 15x8 Ultra wheels The lift and wheels were installed by the Previous Owner. The lift will be getting replaced very shortly with my build
I will be building this Jeep in Phases , The first Phase will completed over January, and Febuary 2012. If it was not for Christmas I would start next month.
Phase one will be replacing the springs/shocks with RE 3.5" coils, OME HD leafs, Bilstein 5100 shocks, Tow hook brackets with Tow hook to D ring adapters, Longer steel brake lines , TNT or Ruffstuff Stiffeners, and JCR stage 3 sliders .
Phase Two will include a JCR Prerunner Winch Bumper, Warn VR8000, JCR Lowpro Roofrack, and JCR rear bumper.
Phase Three will be Regearing with ARB's F&R and a Long Arm Upgrade (TNT)
Here's the pics of the XJ
