Default Howdy from idaho

Hello

I live in southern Idaho (near Twin Falls). I am new to jeep but not to wheeling or forums.

I spent the last 6 years or so building an 1989 Full Size Bronco. It had 6" lift, sas d44 5.13's dual detroits, 38.5 swampers. Needless to say it was one hell of a trail rig. But that's all it was a trail rig and I wanted more. I wanted a rig that could be built and driven one that I could load the family up in and drive to moab for a week. more of a dual purpose rig.

So the bronco got an emotional ax and traded it to a buddy for a 95 xj with a 5.5 lift long arms (told they were claytons) 36's, and a load of extra parts (doors, 4.56's, rear 44, dana 30 tru trac, bushwackers, sliders ect.) it all needed put together tho.

The things i've done so far are ordered and installed a set of RC disconects, took it to a local shop and got the uppers some uppers built, new bushings in the front axle, a set of 33x12.50x15 radial sxt's on black 15x10 d windows.

Future mods include, get the 44 geared and installed, install gears and tru trac in the 30, install new front fenders Mine are hacked to crap, find bushwacker door piece i am missing and install them, find and install a rear locker for the 44, fix the misc little annoying things. build bumpers and install my winch.

so just thought i'd post up and say hey.

this is right after i got it 36's and all (btw this pic is in my pasture)

thanks see ya in the forums.
