LOL..
post count is a joke. A person can join and have lots of Jeep knowledge, but a count of 5.. I use post count as slashes on the prison wall counting..

Lifers have large post counts..lol

I tried to post for the first time last week. When I hit submit, it said the post was waiting for moderator approval. After waiting for a week, I tried posting again today in a different section, but got the same message. I included an image in the post, maybe that is why I need moderator approval? Can anyone help out a newbie? Thanks

Posting a New Topic (aka Thread)

1. Picking a Category (aka Forum Topic)
Before you can start a new topic you need to pick a category for it to reside in. This helps us keep the site organized and to make it easier for you to find your post later on.

If your on our homepage you will see a list of this categories. For example there is Cherokee Tech, Grand Cherokee Tech, etc... Click on the category name that best fits your post and you will enter into that forum topic.

There are a lot of things you can do here such as subscribe to get email notifications of replies, attach files, add images, smiles, etc... but this is the basic way to post a new thread.

Replying to a Topic (aka Thread)

In addition to posting your own topic you can also reply to existing ones. This is how the conversation takes place on the site. If you are reading a thread and want to reply you can do so two different ways.

First, there is a text box on the bottom of the thread where you can type a "quick reply". Just type your response into the box provided and then click on the button that says "Post Quick Reply"

I have a 1992 Cherokee Laredo. I started out with a right reverse light out, then it went to all of my break lights being out. The turn signals and left reverse light were still since this issue started. I replaced the sockets on the right tail light side, and now I have no lights at all on the right side. The fuse isn’t blown. Ideas?

Default No Luck with "New Thread"

I'm brand new here, and having trouble starting a thread in buy/sell--axles/wheels/tires. I click "new thread" and it tells me "you do not have permission to access this page", possibly from "not having sufficient privileges to access". Any help?

Yes, you are a newbie, so you don't get to post things for sale. I don't recall what the post count is that let's you post there.

The reason is to stop spammers.

Are you trying to buy or sell?

Default Seems like everything has slowed down

I just posted a new thread. I’m obviously new but someone came to buy my 99 XJ today. I don’t know if I should fix or sell. It seems as though people aren’t online as much if at all. Maybe because of covid, maybe because the XJs are a dying breed. I don’t know. I do know it’s a shame less people are online because it is a wonderful vehicle to start off

I somehow ended up with my head inside my exhaust pipe. The instructions were not clear enough. Also, my XJ is overheating now

Yes.

This isn't craigslist. It's a community for people to contribute useful knowledge with each other. Those who are active on the forum are welcome to post for sale ads after a certain amount of qualifying posts...those who come in and spam to get their post count up are not looked upon kindly. I've been chasing your edited posts and deleting them all afternoon. Guess how thrilled I am with doing this.

Do me a favor. Stop spamming the site with BS posts and then editing them to just a period to get your post count up. It's not going to work. You're better off on Fakebook Marketplace.
