Hola from Chicago!
Whats going on everyone? I came across this site after first finding Jeepforum.com and thought Id check the place out...so far I like it! I'm Justin, I have a 94' XJ Sport. Its lifted 4.5", 33" tires. I just added an IRO double shear track bar w/conversion and will be adding a set of JKS quicker disconnects as soon as I get off my lazy ****...hah. I just recently bought it and its no beauty queen, but it starts and runs good, now that I replaced the linkage bushings the 4x4 works like a champ...not bad for $1400. After looking it over I do see things that need attention. The harmonic balancer needs replaced, from what I can tell this isn't too hard as long as you have the tool to remove it and line it back up correctly. Ill give it a try, def. not paying the $300 the shop wanted to have it done. I also need to do my axle u-joints as well as change the pinion seals up front and in the rear. I'm also told the double joint in my drive shaft is getting bad and will need replaced. The shop told me this was something they had to have sent to an actually drive shaft machine shop, can anyone shed any light on this? Other than that and some rough body panels which I think I can replace relatively cheap through part outs I think I can make this a decent machine. What ya think?

Actually prolly not. Im not ready to take this wheeling yet, gotta fix a few things first. Namely what I mentioned above before I take it on a nice hwy trip and also where the arm comes under the front axle on the passenger side it must have broke at some point cuz someone welded it back together. Now that weld is comin up a bit so I dont wanna put too much stress on it. Once I get that rewelded and my harmonic balancer on Ill prolly be down to party though. How often do you guys meet?
