Hi my name is Eddie and I'm a Jeep-o-holic

Hi all,
Eddie here - and I own an old reliable 1989 XJ Limited. I bought it in 1999 and it's been one of my most cherished vehicles ever.

It is now 24 years old and I am considering selling it.

I have a lead on a beauty to replace my old faithful friend - a 1998 5.9L Grand Cherokee Limited. I have admired these for years.

This one only has just a shade under 100K miles and looks like it is in great condition.

Just wondering what can be expected for common or major repairs with a vehicle like this in the future.

So I bought it!

Needs new exhaust from catalytic back. Some rust on bottom of door crimp. A bit of vibration from front end when driving 75-80 mph which is a bit concerning.

When I take a tight turn, I don't get wheel hop, but I do get a rotating moaning noise and slight jumping motion. CV Joints?

Let me know your thoughts!
