Hello, new member here. I picked up a 1995 ZJ last September after looking for a 4x4 for awhile. I hadn’t even had it two weeks before it got stolen. I eventually got it back in one piece and had to replace some ignition wires to get it running and I’ve been doing the maintenance that hadn’t been done in who knows how long. It seems like most the common issues are apparent in this car. I’ve replaced the alternator, battery, fixed the threaded rod in the hatchback so it will open, removed the blower motor, replaced tranny oil, and fuses. There is a parasitic draw that is coming from fuse 5 & 8 that still needs to be solved. Valve cover gaskets need to be replaced. Battery wires need to be replaced. CV boots need to be replaced. Speakers need replacing. But that all doesn’t matter because when I took at off road last week, it handled way better than what I expected. I won’t drive it anymore until I get the CV boots and I probably paid more than I should have for something with 225k miles but it’s my first Jeep and I love it.
