Default Hi from California

Hi, I just recently found this forum. My name is Kevin, and I am from Orange County in California. I own a green 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic (XJ), hence my username, GreenClassic. It is 2wd with the 4.0L I6, this is by far the best vehicle I've driven. I have not lifted it, I prefer to keep it stock.

The only change I have made cosmetically is I installed tail lights that came from the United Kingdom, they are slightly different styled.

Here is my baby (before I installed the new tail lights):

Thanks guys, I have a question. How much would a conversion to 4x4 cost about?

You would be better to ask what is required to do the conversion and then price the parts in your areas junkyards. Prices vary around the country. I did a 96 in 2002 in Georgia for 300-400 bucks but it cost near 1000 in Florida recently. So time frame and location are key factors in the cost to convert.
BTW ask in the Cherokee Chat section.
