HEYOOOOOO
Just bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 and I am F***'n excited. I'm already thinking about lifting it...
I need to know however what exactly I will need to lift 3.5in without removing front or rear bumper. AKA a lift without having to modify the body of the truck....
I saw this one on a jeep its perfect...
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-li...er-ride-xj.htm
Only thing is, the price varys between 400-600 bucks without shocks Add a leaf or with leafs? I'm on a budget but I also want the best for my new jeep.
Then there is this...
*NOTE: Installing a Slip Yoke Eliminator and CV driveshaft is recommended when lifting any vehicle 3.5” or higher.
*Shocks not included. Sold separately below.
Are shocks necessary for this lift?
Slip Yoke Eliminator? CV Driveshaft?
Like i said I'm on a budget but I just need to know exactly what I need so I'm not missing anything.
Don't they sell a lift kit that is stand alone(not needing anything else/everything you need)? ANYthing helps. Thanks... and btw here is the new jeep...

Welcome to CF!
Cherokee's are a UNIBODY rig, you there's not a separate frame. That means no body-lifts.
When installing a lift you will need new shocks beacuse you're rig will have increased suspension travel.
Add-a-Leafs sag quickly on rigs that actually see trail time. A lift kit with new leaf packs is prefered.
Do it right the first time....get an SYE. Yes you'll need a new driveshaft.
Use the SEARCH button above, it will save you a lot time.
And one more thing....click on my sig.
