Hey new guy
Hey I am the new guy in town and I am looking to buy an 90s xj and was wondering if you guys can help me out..
I need to no what bad things I sound look for in the Cherokees, I no a little something about them I help my buddie cole out a little on his 93 xj and I have 2 trucks so far 77 f150 and a 87 ford ranger now I would like to start a cherokkee build and want to no what bads to look for....

Look out for rust of course, and electrical, and overheating issues.
Pull the oil-fill cap on the valve cover with the engine idling, and it should suck a piece of paper over the hole. There shouldn't be any smoke or pressure coming out of it as that is a sign of a bad CCV system, or blow-by (tired engine).The latter would indicate a needed engine rebuild.
