Thanks for the imput. btw what are your laws there as far as tires and lifts and fenders and such? if you went down the road here in Maine you wouldn't make it past the first cop.

What would they stop me there for? As for here, they don't enforce ANYTHING!!!
This is my daily driver. I haven't been stopped EVER!!!! You can drive a Buggy, as long as it is registered, and insured. This is TRULY the wild west out here.

When I had my 33 12.5's I got stopped 3 times and got my sticker scraped twice. Luckily my dad does stickers but it wasnt illegal. the third time I got pulled over I asked the cop to show me what was wrong. he said my frame height was to high and that my tires where to big for anti lock brakes. I pointed out that I don't have anti lock brakes. then he took out his tape measure and measured my frameheight. For any half-ton trucks and smaller suv's it can be no higher than 30" front and 32" rear. I had 29" front and 31and 7/16 rear.
meaning to say you have at least 3 inches more lift and 4 inch larger tires than me

... Also people here do have vehicles larger than mine here. 4 some they take the periodic tickets, and others know cops( my dad has been fire chief 4 12 years. He's got a 02 duramax with 6.5 inch rc and 36's) in my case I'm a highschool student and cops around here like no better than too harrass a teenager with good looking vehicles. ( people with rust buckets can get away with murder)
Ps. Sorry for the essay. as you can see I'm frustrated with lift laws. to an extent, theres no harm
In a lifted vehicle. they should worry more about the idiot drivers that go 100 and endanger other people with there lowered, bumblebeed s10's and such

I understand your problem. But I have taken my Jeep to the fire station, and asked for them to spray the truck... as I snap a photo. I would make friends with the law.
But I don't think you have that option. Move to the hot southwest, and drive whatever you want. The law actually is sooo laid back, you would slip by without an issue at all here.

x2 on arizona having NO enforcement on anything.
it is nice.
as long as you have a drivers mirror and rear view, a license plate and it is insured you are good to go!
btw a build thread would be nice too
