Hi everyone, I wanted to inroduce myself before I started bugging everyyone. My name is Doug, I live is St. Louis, MO, I am new to Cherokees, but not new to Jeeps. I bought my first Jeep, a 98 Wrangler new back in 98. Currently we have an 05 Wrangler Unlimited with a three inch lift and 33s. I also have my pride and joy a 1948 ****** CJ 2A with a 48 Bantam trailer. I have always had a soft spot for the Cherokees and I finally got around to getting one. I came across this one on Craigslist, it is a 98 with 98,000 miles. it is pretty clean and straight. So far I have just been doing some routine maintenance and cleaning on it. It had some chrome wheels on it that I did not care for, So I found a set of Ravines off of an 06 Golden Eagle on Craigslist and put some new 30x9.5 15s on. My first intent was to paint these wheels, but the funky gold is growing on me. I have had the Cherokee just a little over a week now.
