Hello from NE Ohio
Hey guys, new to the forum and just got my 1st XJ. Looking to do some wheeling with it and would be interested in finding some folks in the northeast Ohio area.
My dad and I used to go off-roading when I was a kid. He had an 87 YJ and then a 93 ZJ which became my first car. Unfortunately his/my ZJ did not live a long life (major electric failure ) and since I got rid of it 9 years ago I've really been wanting another jeep.
I've already found tons of helpful info on this forum and look forward to maybe seeing some of you out on the trails!

I indeed do have a couple pics I took the day I got it. Tow hooks, skid plate, and duratrac tires are supposed to be delivered today so I will hopefully have them mounted up later in the week for some new pictures, but for now...
And we'll have to do some wheeling soon Trxgedy. What did you get?

Nothing wrong with rockin' it stock! I got my duratracs on today and wanted to post a pic. Skid plate for the transfer case and tow hooks should be in tomorrow, so if I have time I'll get them mounted too.

That sucks Trxgedy; but hey, jeeps do get beat up. I hit a deer in my old ZJ. Nothing a few rivets can't fix!
Got my tow hooks on today. What a nightmare! Got it all back together though and looking good.

My dog (Gus) LOVES the car. I think "go for a car ride" is more exciting to him than "go for a walk." He's a beagle/basset mix, so admittedly he's kind of lazy.
We went to the local 1/4 mile of rutted out access road to muddy the tires a bit yesterday and had some fun. Broke through some ice into some puddles that were a bit deeper than they originally looked, but made it through! It was dark so none of the pics I tried to take turned out very well.

Can't wait to take the jeep out... having lots of over heating problems =/ had the radiator, fan sensor relay switch, and thermostat replaced right before I bought it... had to replace the fan sensor again, and 2 days ago my radiator cracked and I'm in the middle of replacing that.
