hello, looking to buy an xj!
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone can give me some things to look for when buying a xj. I prefer the pre 97 body. I'm looking on craigslist, is there anything I should avoid? Thanks

When i was buying my Cherokee I was mainly looking for a 96 or a 97-99. The 96 has the older model look and its OBD2 so its alot easier to work on. I would try and avoid the 00-01 unless you can get a amazing deal. The heads always go bad and they have 4 o2 sensors instead of 2. Also depending on where you are from I would check it carefully for rust.
