Smile Hello from KC/MO!

As you could probably see by looking at my profile picture I'm new in the Cherokee Forum. I now have a '01 XJ with basic everything..... for now.. .. But I am on my way with modifications. I have added a set of "Hella" off-roading lights, and a cargo rack. not much i know, but basicly all cosmetic stuff so far. I do have a few questions to finish off my Into..
1. To start if off, I need some ground clearance. Can i get away with a 3" suspension lift, and maybe a inch body lift without having to extend brake lines and all that??
2. Tires tires tires, i was thinking 31" tiers,... but what is a decent width (that would fit without rubbing) for a 3" lift? and are my stock rims big enough to fit these undersized/oversized tires.
3. last on my mind, does anyone have positive/negitive reviews about "snorkels" for water driving?
Thanks for any anwsers, you'd be my inspiration to get my rig looking like a real jeep.

Welcomed to our forum!

No such thing as a body lift for an XJ.

Welcome! I'm in Kansas city!
Like ^he said, no body lift. If I were you I would just do 3" with 31's and 10.5" wide is a good size for stock rims
Good luck, maybe we can meet up sometime

haha Kansas City all the way! yeah, maybe in the next couple of months when I can put together this rig we could find a mud pit around. the only one I know of thats closest to me is in gardner kansas, a place called "the pit" where all the KC Jeep club goes. thanks for the help.
