It's all good guys I appreciate everyone's comments and I'm not offended by any of them! I do like this site a lot as there's quite a bit of good info here and good people it seems.

Default New tires for the XJ

Well I decided to ring in the new year with a set of BFGs yesterday. I went with the 30/9.5/15 and it sits about 1" taller than before with the 225/75/15s that where on it. I did notice a slight rub on the RR when it was loaded down with gear and people last night. Looks like a lift may be in my future.

dang man that looks like a magazine jeep. chrome wheels, clean jeep, white letters out. I have been looking into new tires, as well. I will wait until this fall to get new ones. I want to replace my rear leafs (most likely have to add a puck to the front) and see how much room I have. I want bigger tires, but nothing crazy. I enjoy my 23 mpg and smooth, quiet ride.

I love those tires, they are quiet, they last if rotated properly. But they do have a tendency to string mud down the road for a ways when you come back on to pavement.
