And I'm a car-aholic. Yes, I drink car-ahol.....
I just bought my first modern car, a 1993 Cherokee Sport, drove 1.5 hours to buy this (it's hard to find a stock Jeep from the 90s)
Before this I owned an 81 AMC Eagle Kammback with an SR4 and the Iron Duke, had 300K on her when I bought/sold her (never made it to the street)
I've daily driven an 83 AMC Eagle Wagon for the past 6 and a half years, and last year bought a 79 AMC AMX with a 304 and a 4 speed, she's riddled with electrical issues though.
Now I have a 5 Speed XJ to drive while I'm stationed in NY (I'm in the Navy, I'm up in NY for training), since a slammed muscle car or a car with no floor left isn't very practical. She does have a few issues, the headlights flash on and off if I turn the foglights or cruise control on, the voltmeter is in the red whenever the engine is running (but right in the middle with the key on, and the engine off), and theres a wobble in the front end at tight turns at low speeds. But other than that, she's a great car so far.
