Hello from Central CA.
I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of months since I have my 99 Grand Cherokee Limited. But since it's more of a fully loaded luxury jeep, and I haven't done anything to it, I was waiting until I got something I could really go out with.
I just picked up this 88 Cherokee Laredo 4.0 inline 6 for $1100 from a friend who is moving out of state and decided not to take it. It has 301,*** miles, with a new motor less than a year old. It runs like a champ. It has a 2" lift on the front, and a 3" lift in the back. He only put the lift in the back since he took them off an XJ from pick-n-pull. Rolling on 30" tires on stock rims.
But that's what I got and I have plans to lift it higher and I want to chop the top and install roll bars since it's a unibody. Definitely paint it.
If anyone is close by, hit me up so we can test this bad boy out.
