Hello to all! New to the Jeep brand but not to MOPAR.
Hey all,
I'm Lou. Based out of New Paltz, NY
I am a service advisor, and run my own side business doing auto repair, roadside assistance, and vehicle towing and recovery.
I just bought my first XJ 2 weeks ago, used with 66k on the clock.
Its the darker red(I dont recall the name) with grey cloth interior.
4.0 L6, P/T 4wd, 4spd auto with OD, Sport edition.
Its got some minor quirks, but are as I type being fixed(gotta love courtesy Inet access)
I dont plan on keeping it stock, as in the 2 weeks I have already installed a K&N air filter.
I hope to soon have a 2 in lift on it, with air bags in frnt and rear and rear air shocks, a snorkel setup, bigger tires, frnt hitch receiver w/winch setup, rear hitch setup(or maybe new bumpers), full size spare, magnaflow muffler, frnt and rear lockers, frnt posiloc setup.
As I said in the title, I aint new to MOPAR, as I had a 87 Ramcharger back when I was learning how to drive, and at current I have a 94 B350 School Bus Conversion, which I think may be converted to a RV(New Orleans), and a 92 Ford Escort GT.
So, once again, I am honored to now be a part of the Jeep family.

My goal for the truck is to be able to tow a small trailer with my auto service tools in it, and also be able to navigate off road trails and flodded areas in emergency situtations, such as disabled vehicles in the flooded areas around me.
