Hello All! New from Florida :)
Hello!
I am, naturally, new to the Cherokee Forum and wanted to send a fond "Hi!" to everyone!
As it happens, when I was a child my family used a 1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief and I loved it. Currently, my wife and I have an old home that we are going to do some needed work on and I could use a hauler. As such, I thought of acquiring a 1976-1983 Cherokee Chief (or maybe a J10) for this task, plus I would love a truck to go camping and maybe hilling/mudding in from time to time. I have not found a Cherokee Chief yet, particularly as I am a teacher and working on a budget (I have allocated ~$4,000 for a Cherokee Chief), but I am looking!
I am also a newbie when it comes to automotive repair, yet I have a friend who is an expert and he said that he would teach me. I would love to be able to not just learn how to work on trucks, but to do so on a machine I have great memories of.
At any rate, I just wanted to send a warm greetings to everybody.
