Hi-brand new to the forum. I have a 96 jeep grand cherokee. I went to flip the heat on today and random things blew out of my vents and it was really loud. We have mice in our area and I don't know if they've carried things in there. The heater, previous to today, had been running fine. Are there steps I can take myself or do I need to go to a mechanic?

Nasty...

Wouldn't be surprised if mice were building a nest/making more mice in there.
